And they create a whole new generation of fans. That's something the prequels really didn't do. The OT created a whole generation of huge Star Wars nerds. The Prequels not so much.

Disney is as shrewd as they come.



Disney hasn't really been producing bad films lately. Tomorrowland wasn't great and Mr. Banks was boring as hell, but John Carter, while a huge flop, was actually a good movie.

Animation side of things they are dominate again, and having runs that top the late 80's-90's.
