re: Window Tint on Vehicles

Several years ago, I lived in Phoenix. The authorities put out a warning for people taking trips to California. California was cracking down on tinted windows.

Anyone from out of state that got a ticket had to have the tinting removed and bring the vehicle back to California to be inspected. Otherwise, a warrant was issued. You could not just pay the fine and have the matter dropped. The vehicle had to be made legal and have a CHP inspection. Even if you never took the vehicle back into California other than for the inspection.
