I'm so happy Coleman is coming alive.

A receiver like that is hard to come by.
And a UDFA, too.

Agreed. He looks to be Brees' new weapon down the seams but it also sounds like he has greatly improved running the intermediate routes as well.

Anybody, who is saying Coleman isn't a lock to make the roster is kidding themselves. They need to pay close to attention to how many back shoulder throws Coleman has been getting so far in camp from Brees.

One, it takes a strong chemistry between receiver & QB for those back shoulder throws to be successful. The timing has to be right as well as a level of trust by both players.

Secondly, teams throw back shoulder passes to receivers they have the utmost confidence in. You are not going to throw back shoulder passes to receivers who is struggling to run their routes properly, who lacks the necessary chemistry with the QB or has an issue with drops.

People also need to pay attention to how often Coleman is being targeted in the redzone drills. It's a sign that Payton has plans for him to be targeted a great deal in those situations.

Agree 100%. Coleman is 1 of the 53, and I have heard a ton on him catching those quick back shoulder throws in camp. I am happy about our WR skill position. I still like Willie Snead and Seantavious Jones. For me the verdict is still out on Nick Toon. I have noticed he is good or average at every WR skill but he doesn't have a WR skill set that is excellent. Like leaping ability/speed/quickness/hands. Everything seems to be just average. And I don't believe he plays on Special Teams. Willie Snead has been looking really good and even Prater I hear is looking good. Prater is 6'6" big like Colston I believe. We will be fine with Brees spreading the ball around to these guys.
