Lot of replies but I haven't seen anyone saying what their favorite dish is (new menu apparently). Give me some recs--going for the first time this weekend.

I've always liked Gino's wine list

I went this past weekend and our party all had pasta dishes. If you've been to Nino's then you probably know that they are in house, handmade pastas....and they are absolutely delicious. I had the crab and brie pasta (linguine). It was sublime and I highly recommend it. Very good charcuterie plate as well. Had some gnocchi as an app and it pleased the table as well. Overall it is one of my top 3 Baton Rouge restaurants. (Beausoleil, Nino's, Pinetta's...no particular order)

I went for the first time 2 weeks ago and it was stellar.

Gnocchi is pan fried and crisp: phenomenal
I had the pork tenderloin with blackberries and it was excellent. My wife had the Alfredo and it was very good as well. They have a small and enthusiastic staff that gave great recommendations on all of the dishes and the wine list was not expansive but strong with some great value bottles.

We had the chef's wife as our server and she mentioned that a lot of the regulars were upset that they ditched a lot of the traditional Italian dishes recently.
