Pretty cool breakdown.

The Manc deal is absurd. Can't wait for McCraigBro's insight on Nike vs Adidas in soccer.

Pretty amazing how big Chelsea's global brand has become in only about 15 years.

City is a small club when it comes down to it

Nike only sponsors one team in the whole league.

Considering Standard Chartered holds the majority of the Gilette and Hicks debt, that number doesn't convey the entire advantage enjoyed by Liverpool by SC being our main sponsor.

Haven't read the article yet, but there is no "r" in my name lol. Don't worry though, it isn't the first time.

Well Adidas has to go all out with soccer. They have lost some massive US Colleges in recent years (ND, Mich, and TENN) and they quickly becoming nonexistent in basketball. They just lost the jersey deal they had with the NBA.

It still blows my mind every time I see the numbers for the Adidas deal with United. I feel like we need to exploit that to get a Ronaldo/Messi signing just because we can do it with those numbers from the deal. Front-load that shite, and let's become OP again.

On the overall ranking, was QPR 7th last year?

Aston Villa, West Ham and Newcastle get more from their sponsors than Everton . Also, over half the league has undisclosed jersey deals.

I'd argue that Derrick Rose's constant injuries really hurt what could have been a big push for Adidas

This is 100% true. Also as someone who is into shoes quite a bit, Nike is really good at making their athletic shoes also go well with casual life (ie Jordans, Foamposites, Roshe) than any other company is.

Holy shite hahaha. I didn't know United was getting THAT much. That is honestly crazy, but I mean they are a top 3 club in the world popularity wise so they can demand a number like that. Adidas needs the exposure and branding more than Nike does, so I can 100% see why they would dish that much out.

You don't need much branding when you have Jordan, Ronaldo and Lebron on your marketing team.
