Lol, Most policies aren't enacted with the hope that change will be at the snap of ones fingers. What would be the point of having the word 'Progress' if everyone thought this way? Not sure why this is here.

Thank you captain obvious. It was simply an example that relied on hyperbole.

And to rebut your earlier point: illegal weapons can and have been smuggled across borders. Don't act like the black market for weapons would dry up because they could no longer be stolen in the US.

You know how cocaine is illegal but some people manage to get their hands on it? Drug cartels would just become gun cartels.
