BR is bayou country. That means when it floods, you got to buy you a new rug.

Because you couldn't get the blood out of the old one?

Occasionally the other type of rug ends up on the floor during rompous sexual intercourse

Sams, Home Depot, and Lowes all have nice rugs and decent prices. Not talking expensive Persians, but they are nice and have a wide variety.

Haghighi or whatever his name is. He's got stuff from a few hundred to $50k there. I brought a rug to him to get cleaned, and they fixed some random minuscule things for free

Looking for a rug in BR? You're in luck!! We have more Persian Rug galleries than Tehran, with more on the way! I have a large area rug (16 x 20) from Lowes that was about $150 (bought in 2009) and really pulls the room together just fine.

Is your price range in the hundreds(cheap rugs) or thousands(nice rugs)?
You said nice, but what is your definition of nice? Polypropylene or Olefin rugs or hand knotted wool rugs? Huge, huge difference.
