Tonight is our (my wife and I) anniversary and she wants hibachi. Thinking maybe something we haven't tried before. TIA

On the westbank Fuji Hana is my go to for hibachi. And their sushi is great too

Little Tokyo on Carrollton
Of the places I have tried, this is my favorite. They use copious amounts of their garlic butter, and it is glorious. Their sushi is very nice as well.

Love hibachi but portions are so small I'm always hungry. I always double up on the meat. They will slice up half a chicken breast with rice and a few veggies and some broth for appetizer
Sorry I can eat more than that for $30

Nagoya! My fiance and I have a good system. I eat most of her fried rice while she takes my vegetables.

Tokyo Cafe on Bluebonnet has amazing portion. Noodles and rice. Bunch of veg. Sometimes a couple free shrimp.
It is also the best hibachi I have had in BR. Nothing else comes close

That about sums it up. Nice job spending $75 dollars on meat and rice.

I've never done Hibachi before. I don't really like stir fry much.

It's not stir fry, it's fried rice with sear meat/fish/shrimp.
I agree with Rohan that it's overpriced, but restaurants in general are very overpriced when you order things like steak, scallops, shrimp, etc. You're much better off to do it at home for less money and more food, but sometimes it's nice to go out and have someone cook for you. I don't mind a good hibachi now and then.

I know it's not in a wok like stir fry, but I just mean I'm not into sautéed/flat top meat and veggies. It's not a type of food I'd order with or without the show, really.
