From almost the beginning of this thread people have been talking about the cop being dragged and possibly run over.
Did we watch the same video? At what point did it seem the guy in the car was about to run over the cop? The car only moved when the guy's brains were riding shotgun.

The video shows a brief struggle during which there was a gun shot, a barrel roll, and a car driving away. The camera shook so much during that whole ordeal that I found it impossible to tell if the car had already started moving before the gun shot occurred.
You could interpret someone fearing getting run over as a head on collision from the front bumper. However, if he was hooked on the car, his legs could get tangled and run over by the back wheels as he is being drug along.
