The Goodell report already addressed their position on these notice allegations if you want to read where the debate is going in this case.
That's why this is going to court. But you are clearly a biased observer so I wouldn't expect you for one moment to contemplate the lack of logic Goodell has displayed since this whole thing began back in January.
What's funny is that I am accused of having my own bias because I must be a Patriots fan. Funny thing is....I'm not. I'm not much of an NFL fan because I am from Alabama and didn't grow up with an NFL team to root for. The only NFL team I ever really liked was the 49ers because my dad knows Eric Davis (a former DB for them). So I feel like I am approaching this objectively.
Bottom line....four games for refusing to hand over a cell phone? Give me a break. Not to mention the science behind DeflateGate is dubious at best.

It's literally dumber than bountygate. This makes no fricking sense and it drives me crazy that most fans are supporting Goodell. It fricking makes me not like the NFL and I'm not exaggerating.
Who wins with Tom Brady sitting out on NFL opening Thursday night? Who wins?!?! It's so fricking dumb.

But you are clearly a biased observer

I honestly don't care what ultimately happens, but having read most of the reports it seems most likely that Brady was involved in the deflating of footballs and that he didn't fully cooperate with the investigation. It is hard to imagine an objective person thinking otherwise.

I don't see why Brady didn't say "yeah we deflated them because that's how I like it. I guess we did it a little bit too much this time." What's wrong with that?

Please show me where this has been denied by Goodell or anyone in the NFL office. I want to see that in plain writing. Because Goodell cited in May Brady's lack of cooperation as the main reason for the suspension and he also cited the destruction of the cell phone as the main reason he upheld that suspension yesterday.
So obviously this all boils down to a cell phone.

Goodall isn't the only liar. ESPN is happy to parrot the same lies all day long. Destroying a phone does not delete text messages--they can always be recovered. Also, the NFL has both phones of the ball handlers so they can see both sides of any communication between them and Brady. I can't believe that league officials aren't embarrassed at Goodall's behavior.
i know this isn't the same case, but what ever happened to the thousands of pages of evidence the league had on the Saints? There were some screen shots made available that looked like some kid taking sloppy notes in class. And then there were accusations against Mickey Loomis for dropping a wire in the visitors lockeroom that ended up not having any credibility. That isn't necessarily Goodell's fault or anything but it does prove that there is plenty of junk journalism out there.
its a joke.
so I'm not going to sit here and believe what they have to say a lot of time when it comes to stuff like this.
same thing for the league. They only want to cover their own arse and I'll bet you had the Saints thing not happened at such a sensitive time regarding concussions, Coach Payton probably just gets a hefty fine or has to miss a few games instead of the whole season.
sorry for going off subject but it just goes back to me not trusting everything league officials or the media have to say.

And now he is trying to do one of the hardest things in law: vacate a labor arbitration award.
He is going to spend a lot of money (or the union is) just to make it LOOK like he is fighting this, but in reality he already lost and with finality.

Anyone notice Brady didn't say he didn't deflate footballs or ask someone to deflate them in his facebook post? He just said he didn't do anything wrong.

No, it's not. Goodell's major point in his ruling back in May and the refusal to reduce the suspension yesterday is the cell phone. He makes mention of the science offered up by the Wells Report, yes, and uses that to justify everything. But he also refuses to acknowledge the two or three other reports out there that have refuted (or offered a rebuttal to) the Wells Report.

Again, the phone was one part of the totality of Brady not cooperating which was one part of the totality of the evidence that leads to the conclusion that Brady more likely than not was a part of a conspiracy to deflate balls.
Your insistence on boiling it down to the false narrative that Brady was suspended for not physically handing over his cell phone is intellectually dishonest.

How dense can you fricking be? The texts were presented to Goodell/Wells in its entirety. What other texts do you want from his phone that could be relevant? You want to see him and Gisele naked in their Ugg boots? You certainly seem obsessed about the content on his personal cell phone
Oh and trust me the injunction will be made.
"To obtain the injunction the, NFLPA must establish for the court a likelihood that it will prevail on the merits and that imposing the penalty would result in "irreparable injury." The union lawyers should be able to meet both standards. On its face, a four-game suspension based on a transgression of a non-existent rule is questionable. Loss of the opportunity to play in one-quarter of the regular NFL season is certainly irreparable injury. Brady can be paid the money he will lose, but the games cannot be replayed."

Alright, I need to get caught up on this and also express some feelings I have about it.
So, y'all remember that first press conference that Brady did. Was I the only one thinking "oh my god. Oh.my.god. He's lying. He's lying and there's no real reason to be lying right now. This is going to blow the frick up in his face!!!!"
The reason I thought it would blow up in his face...is because at the time, it wasn't THAT big a deal. At the time, everyone thought he had deflated the balls, and not many cared. Yeah, there were people on social media going with the whole "Brady and the Pats are dang cheats!" But that is a yearly event. There were more people making jokes about the cheating not being a big deal because the Colts got arse fricked than there were calling for Brady to sit the SB. It wasn't that big a deal.
There is SO much evidence of messing with footballs out there that Brady and the Pats could have EASILY explained their situation in a clear, easy to understand method, and put an end to this shite. But they did the opposite, and now look
And question: What is Brady fighting in court? Is it that the NFL's punishment for this "crime" isn't consistent? I won't pretend to know how it'll play out, but I imagine the NFL will have tons of leeway in explaining why they gave the 4 games.

I mean I just want to find out what this "with held" texts and conversations Goodell is talking about. ALL the relevant information was given by Brady and his lawyers

Tons of leeway for a punishment? Between Adrain Peterson, Ray Rice, and Greg Hardy, how can you give these fricking morons leeway for a punishment that has no merit and continuity? The NFL has shown time and time again it fails at making these judgement calls and they are completely inconsistent. It's a literal joke you think Goodell/NFL have an ounce of credibility to their name
