So long story short, I decided recently I wanted to take a little weekend getaway this fall and see a cfb venue that UGA likely wont' visit. After some browsing around I settled on MSU at OSU on 11/21. I talked to some of the OSU posters here who were very helpful, and I think I'm going to make this thing happen. Already bought a ticket to the game, Air BnB housing is dirt cheap, and flights are pretty affordable. Now for some questions for those in the know.

-I know you can't say for sure, but is there ANY way of hazarding a reasonable guess of game time? I'm really hoping for night. I'm also scared to book a flight right now, in case it turns out the game is at noon or something. I want to just fly up Saturday morning, stay teh night, and come back Sunday.

-Are there any "touristy" type places on campus I need to visit for sure? Most of the places I looked at are a few blocks straight east of the stadium so I'll be on foot all day.

-For Saturday night after the game, what are some bars I should hit up? Do the bars close at a certain time? And how far are the bars from the stadium? Walking distance would be awesome, but I assume I might have to take an uber. If not walking distance, how far are we talking?

-What is a reasonable guess on how long it will take to get from the airport to the stadium (I only use the stadium since I dont' have a house booked yet but it'll be fairly close so it's a good reference point)? Also, on my flight up there on Saturday, there's a chacne I might not get there til later morning, so on my way to drop my bag off I'll be contending with gameday traffic.

Any help is appreciated, thanks!

ETA: For those too lazy to read 2 pages, I am now planning on flying in late Friday night and not on Saturday.

I could be wrong, but I think it's rare for B1G games to get flipped to prime time if not announced before the season.

The Big Ten almost never has night games in November because of the potential for snow and ice on the roads when people are driving home. There used to be a rule against it but I believe that was waived last year.

I would be shocked if it was not a 330 game.

You might find Mirror Lake cool. It's where the Michigan Week student jump happens. Also Thompson library was renovated a few years ago and is pretty neat.

Plan for 30 minutes. Could be 20.

ive been to a couple columbus crew games and it definitely feels like the bars are far as frick away. i might just be comparing that to athens which is unfair, but hey

THE OSU is a 16 point favorite over MSU.

Why not see a good game?
