I'm not the person to ask about all this, as what I've found personally is miles away from being worthy of cord-cutting. I haven't made that big of an effort to dig for a solution to get content from every single cable channel, but I've yet to find a centralized alternative to cable/dish that delivers the same content live. Lots of ways to download the shows hours or a day after it's aired, but you aren't going to be able to watch Walking Dead or Kardashians etc. for free until it's been aired and some generous cable subscriber has uploaded it somewhere.
