I just completed an outdoor kitchen/man cave combo. I am a charcoal, wood smoker kind of person. I always thought a gas grill would be nice in certain situations but never found the right grill. I went to several outdoors shows and business who sell the upper end pits, but just couldn't find the quality grill I wanted.
One day several months back I am in a high end restaurant supply place buying stuff to outfit my kitchen. I noticed a grill in the corner and went over to check it out. It was a brand I never heard of before but when I opened the cover it felt like no other grill.
It was a crown verity pit, a company that makes products for caterers. LINK /
I ordered one from the factory and it is by far, better than any other pit I looked at.
Before buying a stainless steel model do a magnet test. Put a magnet up against the side of it, if the magnet sticks it is poor quality.
