Just got back Tuesday from the Rockies (Breckenridge & Estes Park)

There is snow but not to ski or snowboard by any means. Mainly little patches to stop and walk in and throw a snowball at someone

Butte still has a lot of snow. Buddy is up hiking with his family and has send a few pictures with significant amount of snow still on the ground.

I hiked Indian Peaks last week. Plenty of snow still on the ground.

I hiked up to Dream Lake and Emerald Lake last Friday. Not much snow, but definitely some on the ground as we made our way up and more even higher. Great trip. I really enjoyed it.

I would check the webcams. Be careful on the drive up if you plan to make it. It has been unseasonably wet this year. We have afternoon showers more often than not. I made the trip up there in June and it was 29...I wore shorts and a thin hood t-shirt up to Pike's Peak. It may not be weather you are used to. It's a dry cold so it's not like 40 and humid and you wear 2 layers of clothes. If you drive and don't use the COG train I would wear jeans and a hoody so you can stay longer. You won't feel miserable. Some parts of the summit were closed due to how much rain and snow we took but it looks nice now. I plan to make the drive up there by myself soon. I live about 20 minutes away but we took the COG because my son lives trains. Have fun and let us know how you like it I can see the summit of Pike's Peak beatifully from my porch in Woodland Park. It looks nice up there lol

Also, I highly recommend taking a trip around to Helen Hunt Falls and North Cheyenne Canon Park. It's magnificnent. It's probably 30 minutes around back into Colorado Springs. Pikes Peak is breath taking, but using the time to go back down and around into Cheyenne Canon Park, you will thank me. It's absolutely beautiful and a different view of the same mountain range.

Garden of the gods is free too by the way...don't leave my area without seeing all of our free wonders. You will pass both on the way to Pike's Peak. They're all within twenty minutes of each other. So glad I left Slidell for this lol
