I don't know where you came up with 7 wins in Majors, but that number is 14 wins in Majors against those guys. Doesn't matter that it wasn't in the Final. His semifinal streak will never be touched.
It's really crazy to me that you can even try and argue he isn't best ever. He's 4 Majors ahead of the next guy.

Except he's behind Laver in Majors (if you count Laver's Pro Majors) and has no doubles Majors.
He also doesn't have a calendar slam which Laver has 3 (amateur 1962 , pro 1967, open era 1969)
