Last year's team struggled with the most rudimentary basketball fundamentals. I don't know who exactly you blame it on, but I blame Jones for not holding anyone accountable for it. It's pretty obvious he's a "player's coach" and let's the players get away with things that others don't.

Mickey and Martin turn the ball over on 4 consecutive plays against, let's choose the Alabama game--second half. Let's say Jones sits them. You make the call, who goes into the game? It sounds great, but you'd kill him for leaving whatever combination of Epps, Udo, Robinson, and Darcy out there to prove a point to the best players on the team. Alabama would very clearly have reduced our margin by half against that line. Now what?

This is a BS argument. Epps actually had good stretches on offense, defense struggled at times. With Mickey out on the road against Ark, Epps played well.

All it takes is a couple of possessions to send a message, we had guys capable of playing 2-3 possessions. Not to mention the fact that it helps build depth.

The 'we didn't have anybody else' is a lazy excuse. If you truly didn't have anybody else, then hold them accountable in practice, either way, DO SOMETHING.
