I am beginning to question the creative ability of several of our players on the offensive end. I will say that I like the energy of the back line, though Gomez has been shaky at best. Lovren has done very well, as has Clyne. Skrtel is always a risk/reward player.
I expected Milner to play a bigger role in feeding the ball in, especially with Teke/Lallana/Cou out front of him.
Size (or a lack thereof) is hurting us. Coutinho and Lallana are both small, can't win air battles. He do is average height but is SUPER WHITE. Teke is the only one really winning headers aside from the back line, but he sends them back to Stoke at the midfield stripe every time.
Also, I want to see more crosses like the commentators were mentioning. It is like nobody knows how to dribble to the byline and jet a pass across the goal.
Hopefully this is just a team that needs a little more time to gel. I like a lot of what I see, but some of it will burn us sooner than later.

We've always known our attacking guys were small, so why are we playing the ball in the air to begin with?

I may be reading the game wrong, but I'm just seeing huge gaps in our midfield. Either Cou, Lallana, or Ibe aren't dropping back to link up, or Hendo and Milner aren't pushing forward to give them support.

I am with you both. Cut the long ball BS and get Firmino in there at around the 65' mark.

I think that we are seeing a bunch of standing around from Coutinho unless he has the ball. Also, Ibe isn't getting back as far as he should with his speed.

Can coming in soon it seems...

I think ibe has been really slow on the ball. Taking way to many touches. I hope it's just first game jitters

Probaby the most notable thing he's done all day but some really nice effort and moves from Cou there.

We have 2 subs left. Let's use them.

Wish granted. Firmino coming on soon.

New team rule. No one pass it back to Skrtel.

I like where your head is at.
Firmino showing a bit of quality already.

That header was a tad unnerving

This formation and 11 we have on should be our starters IMO maybe minus Gomez and lovern but I think with the brazilians we have a lot more creative forces going forward
