I read something saying Walcott has really hit the training grounds hard, working on the timing of his runs and his hold up play. I'd say it is really paying off.

He worked his arse off hounding United's back line today. Really thrilled to see where he's gone this year. 5 goals, 4 assists in 8 starts for us this season in all comps.

I also don't think it is a coincidence that Alexis' "dip in form" last season came around the same time Giroud started to replace Welbeck up front. Those two just haven't really coexisted well. Alexis seems to love playing with Theo up front, as does Ozil.

The best part is that he seems to be figuring out the other parts of being a CF by each passing game. His hold play keeps getting better and today was the best I have seen him look at pressing and tracking back.
