Anyone else going to the Atlanta United launch party tomorrow?

Somehow convinced the wife to go with me. Did I read right that they suggest parking at GWCC and shuttling? frick that noise.

Probably? I will double check tomorrow if I remember. You can always park downtown.

If you are a founding member, then I was told that you should park at the Yellow Lot and take the shuttle over cause there will be a check-in there at the Yellow Lot.

Also, let me know what you think of the event and any constructive criticism you have (besides the actual name of the team).

I'm all for "soccer club" names. But "United" actually MEANS something, and unless more than one already existing club is merging with another, then no. Dynamo is fine, Sporting is fine, it also gives the club room to expand to other sports, and even Dynamo. Real is OK, as well, IF they're really aligned with another Real club in Spain.

I give D.C. a pass since it's the Capitol club.
