My understanding is you can switch back to AT&T if Fi doesn't work for you and take your number back to them. I don't know how it works with a Voice number. I never used mine.

I'm starting to question if the switch will work for me long term. Although the coverage map has me covered, the lack of quality signal while inside and not on Wifi is concerning. I was in the grocery store last night and didn't get a single text from the wife, but had 4 from her when I got out to the car.

I'm going to take the plunge right now. I'm going to use my Voice number for Fi, so my AT&T number will stay with them. I'm pretty sure I will be able to just swap my sim out and use either network. If I decide to stick with it and cancel AT&T, I will probably bring my AT&T number over then.

Well frick nevermind, I have to pay the ETF to unlock my phone just to try Fi.
