I have a question. Not trying to start anything I just don't know. Why is a sealed drag better than a cork drag?
I have only one reel that is a sealed drag. Its the Van Staal C-Vex. Haven't had many chances to use it verses all my other reels so I don't have an opinion on it.

It's not.
They are both equally as good. Where one falls short, the other excels.
Tibor holds the most IGFA world records and he only recently developed a sealed drag reel.
