I dont think its a "disorder" necessarily, and if they aaid no more meds for it, you wouldnt see me crying about it, but
Isn't a blanket statement that is true. My dad is a lazy parent , but my mom tried A LOT before turning to meds. I rememeber being punished down to only a bed and a desk in my room until I got my grades up. I had designated study time. She'd meet with teachers. Took me out of sports temporarily to focus on school. Went to the psychologist for months before turning to meds. She didnt just say screw it, he needs some pills.
I consider myself to be pretty succesful, so this can'tbe used as a blanket statement either.
For way to many, your above statements are correct. But for some, its legitimately needed to reach close to their max potential. And that makes it at least a somewhat legitimate condition for some people.
