Ya I looked at all that area when I was planning my honeymoon.
Vic Falls seemed like a PITA to get to if you aren't flying from South Africa, so you have to get there first and of course, as you know, the aviation schedules did not appear to be ideal in Africa.
Giraffe Manor in Kenya would be awesome too.

Did you end up going to East Africa? I haven't been on the East Coast yet. Just West and South.
