He was saying Mexican illegals are bringing a lot of problems (true). It's a major crime problem (true). Then he was clarifying to let people know he doesn't think ALL the illegals are violent drug-dealers, obviously, but it's still a major issue.

What exactly is the problem?

The problem is saying that SOME are good people. That the majority of illegals crossing the border are coming here to commit violent crimes? That's fricking asinine and 100% false. They come to work.

And how can a board predominantly filled with Louisiana natives not refute this by simply looking at WHO THE HELL REBUILT NEW ORLEANS.

I saw it first hand. Every gas station in BR along I-10 for months was chock full of Mexicans(not US citizens) jammed into a van leaving or going to Nola and stocking up on food and water. WADS of cash in hand and happy as frick to be making that kind of money to send home. Immigration issue? yes. But he's absolutely wrong about his ratio of good vs bad illegals.
