AD is our 5 when it comes to the playoffs and whoever our C is will play limited minutes come playoff time.

Which is fine. San Antonio does that. The Warriors do that. The Thunder were at their best with Ibaka at the 5 (RIP Scott Brooks's rotations)

The problem for the Pels is they don't have the same flexibility, at the moment, to go small ball effectively like those teams. I would have loved more flyers on wings the past few years instead of guys like Jimmer, Roberts, etc. And, of course, that it didn't happen doesn't mean they didn't try.

But maybe they can get by with Anderson/Davis, insane offense, and sound team defense. The Warriors held the Cavs in check with no real rim protectors on the floor.

The cavs second best player was a bench player at best on every team in the nba.

let's not compare anything that the Warriors did defensively against the iso offense of Lebron for every game b/c he had absolutely no help from his team mates.

That being said, if we can get some competent SF play, we'd be better at small ball. Our best players are Jrue, EG, Cole, Reke, AD, but they are too small.
