Some were more peaceful than others. Overall though, they lived a fairly peaceful life.

Maybe, maybe not. The Indians fought the white man and eventually came out on the short end of the deal. It would have been better for everyone if they could've gotten along. As it was, there were a lot of atrocities committed by both sides against the other. Seems like the white man always gets 100% of the blame for it even though there were a lot of Indians who were murderous savages.
