Well, I now realize that for some reason, texts are still going through to the old iphone. I even took the SIM card out of it, and it still happens. I'll text someone from the new phone, and their response will go to the iphone

Is it texts from other iphones or ipads? Probably iMessage. It doesn't actually go through as a "text" but more like the old Blackberry Messenger where it is more like an instant messaging system. Is the old iPhone still connected to WiFi? That's probably it. Go to your Settings on the iphone, and it is Settings > Messages and from there turn off iMessage. There should also be an option called Send & Receive in that same menu. It may say 2 addresses, 3 addresses, etc. Mine has my phone number and my email address that is linked to my iTunes account. You can clear those out as well, but turning off the iMessage should do it.

Good deal, thanks. I'll turn off everythign and just put it in a drawer. I also noticed last night though that I was still receiving snapchats to the old phone which was pretty confusing.
