I played with my son the other day and went to play today and now some of the games, which worked 2 days ago, all of a sudden won't take.
I cleaned them off with alcohol and a q-tip. Mario 64 worked fine, he loves it. Now it won't play, any advice?

Try pushing the game down harder, sometimes that was the issue for me. If that doesn't work then blow on those mf'ers
Eta: Also make sure the port on the N64 is clean as well

alcohol
Don't use alcohol it eats at the board. 409 is the best cleaner I have used for games. Used to buy a shite ton of NES game dirtier as hell. 409 always did the trick.

generally, the issue is seating the cartridge in the console. either slide it a little bit further down or up and reset. slight adjustments do the trick
