I'm just glad we didn't go 2 and Q, but most importantly I'm glad I didn't go to Omaha and drop a few Gs

Just not getting it done on the big stage.
But...17 trips to Omaha in 30 seasons is hard to argue. What other program has done that ?
Mike Martin...1800 victories... No national title.
Ron Polk...godfather if SEC baseball...1300 victories...no National title.
Where is Arizona State ? Or Florida State or UCLA ?? Where is South Carolina or Oregon State or UNC ?
All you can do is get into the post season and try to make a run. It's a crapshoot in Omaha. Commit four errors in one game and you are in the losers bracket facing long odds.
LSU is still a top 5 program. You can't win every year. Sometimes you get the breaks, sometimes you don't.
