New Orleans in 2011, compiling 28 sacks and 150 tackles. But he’s no more than a league-average guy who will now be paid $36 million over the next three years. As NFL.com’s Gregg Rosenthal points out, that’s basically starting quarterback money.

$36m over 3 years... So an average of $12m a year... That's QB $$$? Damn, just about every team is overpaying for their QB then. $12m a year would be 19th highest paid QB. Not really what I would call "QB money".

And I love how they only focus on what Jordan did in 2014 and act like he was horrible. It wasn't as good as his 2013 season, but he still was very solid and was on a horrible D. He was still t-12th in sacks at his position, t-9th in QB hurries, t-8th in tackles, and 7th in stops. That's after his All Pro season in 2013.

And Cam Jordan will be improved as well, along with our entire D. And I'm not even a huge Cam Jordan fan or anything like that. But that article is horrible.
