I don't know much about the intricacies of global finance, but I'll assume that every one in the Eurozone knows Greece is a lost cause because it is structurally dysfunctional, and continue to work with them to drag out the damage so it won't be so harmful to the rest of them.

Of course, the blame really should be on the Euro members. They knew Greece was a backwater economic shithole when they admitted them, but feigned ignorance when accepting their application to the Eurozone.

I swear you can't even find people working half the day there. Made it hard to eat lunch with everybody sleeping or doing whatever they do there.
