For what should you get prescribed it? I think only terminally ill patients should be prescribed it.

What if it is more effective for the individual than a pharmaceutical is?
I go though periods of severe insominia. I find if I take one hit of high grade marijuana a couple hours before bedtime I sleep the whole night with no problems. In the past I was prescribed Ambien. Which do you think is safer? Which do you think has less side effects?

If you really think this then you're almost too stupid to breathe.
For many people pot is a medicine. It's a plant-derived medicine that works better than pharmaceuticals and with almost no side effects or addiction worries. Thus, for some, it's akin to firing someone for use of any other medication. Obviously a pilot etc can't be under the influence of any substance beside caffeine, but there's little reason to treat pot differently than other meds or alcohol.
