How so? Yes it's behind schedule and some vendor issues, because an all composite aircraft was underestimated in the engineering field and had some early bugs, mostly the -8 configuration.
This is the most technologically advanced commercial aircraft on the market right now.

I think that's a little of an overstatement, and too early to tell, the DC-10 was pretty bad at first then went on to be a fine airplane, same with the MD-11, it was so bad when we first got it all of the mechanics called it the scud, it went on to be a good one, I do know that airlines are disappointed because the Feds didn't grant them a common type with the 777, but they always bitch over pennies while dollars are flying out of the window
