Go AGM, just don't get a garbage Optima one. Deka and Odyssey are amongst the best (Sears Diehard Platinum AGM is rebadged Odyssey and both are made by EnerSys). The EastPenn AGM in my F150 is approaching 15 years old and still going strong. If you treat the battery right and do the proper maintenance you'll probably put that battery in your next truck.

Optima is over-priced crap.
