I know it isn't exactly the most reliable source, but Wikipedia disagrees with the physical dimensions of the velociraptor.
6.8 feet long, 1.6 feet high at hip. Just kind of funny what was picked to be the ultimate killer in these movies.

The producers already came out and said that scientist can suck their dick and that they don't care about being 100 percent scientifically accurate

It was a made up dinosaur pretty much when Michael Crichton wrote the novel. After it came out, Utah raptor fossils were discovered, which is much close in size to the JP world velociraptors.
