What's the Rant's opinion on "fans" wearing LSU and ULL colors this weekend?

I saw quite a few people at The Box wearing and LSU shirt and ULL hat or visa versa. Seems like a weak move IMHO.

They aren't rivals or anything. They're a short trip from Baton Rouge, and I'm sure there are plenty mutual friends amongst the two fanbases.

No big deal.

I got a degree from LSU but I worked for USL (its name at the time) as well. I think the name thing is pretty petty and turns me off as an LSU grad, but I don't have the blind hatred that a lot of the LSU fanbase does.

I was torn last year when they played Ole Miss because I didn't want ULL in if LSU wasn't in because we'd never hear the end of it, but I wasn't going to outwardly pull for Ole Miss to do it.

If you put a gun to my head, I'd pull for LSU only and it's not even a debate.

Honestly no big deal. What if they had a kid at ULL. I know if my kids went to another school and I am giving that school THAT much money I can cheer for whoever I want lol.

IMHO

Not as bad as the people who show up with neither color. The guy from the drama in RF thread (roided up looking guy about to fight the ULL fan) was wearing a grey tank top and a Chicago Bears hat (backwards of course).

Not ok unless you have a kid on both teams.

I mean, how unthinkable is it that someone has affiliations with two schools separated by such a short distance?

I honestly don't think it's a big deal. If someone graduated from both schools, they should be able to wear LSU and ULL gear together.

Some of you are bothered by really trivial shite. For a team that just won and is heading to the cws, there sure is a lot of focus on ULL.

I will be so happy when the LSU-ULL bullshite finally ends...hopefully by the end of the day. It is extremely pathetic on their part, obviously, but the fact that we keep talking about it makes it just as bad.
