Console Launch of Elder Scrolls Tamriel Unlimited Thread

After reading all the abysmal PC reviews when the game first launched, I canceled my pre order and was very disappointed. Now after reading about all the changes they've made such as no subscription, Justice System, etc I think the game will shock a lot of people with how solid it is on the consoles.
With that said I've got my XBone digital copy installed and waiting until 12:01 tonight. Anybody else going to give this game a shot?

I'm pre-ordered, knew I was always going to play this game. I've played Neverwinter on console so it's got to be much better than that.
This year has been so stacked with excellent games, it's a shame they all run together like this. I'm trying to finish The Witcher 3 but I'm still a couple hundred hours or so from being done with it. Then I have vacation all next week.
Gotta love first world problems.

I bought the digital version for PS4 and started the pre-order download and installation this morning. The description says it will be ready for play at 12am Eastern which is 11pm Central for me.

I love the Elder Scrolls series. Elder Scrolls games are one of my three favorite gaming series (other two are Fallout and Half Life).

I'm new to MMOs...how will this one play? Like if I just want to run around doing quests, will there be players running around that can kill me and steal all my stuff? What happens if you die?

There haven't been many games like this since Ultima Online and the Zek servers in Everquest. MMO's today are very carebear.

I am so super pumped for tonight! Anyone going to play it at launch? I think I will try to stay up and do it. From what I've read it should unlock at 11pm central. You never know though, Destiny was a 3am launch because it was locked to midnight pacific.

11:01cent it unlocks. Its a east coast launch so 12:01 ET.

I was given tomorrow off by some miracle, I didn't even have to ask for it. My wife has a 12 hour shift at the hospital as well, so tonight and tomorrow I'm going to gameout like a single college kid again. I've prepared for this day with a brand new pair of A50 Astros, and brand new 40 incher TV

ESO is underrated. It's not really Elder Scrolls, but it feels closer to Elder Scrolls than World of Warcraft. In a genre so inundated with WoW clones, that says a lot.
