I know airfare has gone up alot lately, but it wasn't uncommon just a few years ago to see this regularly at $135 and specials down to $99

The "Southwest effect" has gone away
. Now they have a monopoly on certain routes and don't care how much they charge. Also, it could be more people would rather fly to orlando than drive?
