Check your tv settings. If your tv has any kind of motion smoothing settings turn all of that off. Your tv might also have a game mode setting that will disable all of that you could switch it to. I know back when I started playing the show on ps3 (I think it was '12) I couldn't catch up to fastballs and felt like i was late on everything. I read somewhere about the motion smoothing on a lot of tv's causing huge input lag, disabled it on my tv, and then immediately after turning it off I was pulling everything to left field or foul down the left field line.

This is good advice if it pertains to you. My plasma has really bad input lag but if I switch to the PC input it cuts it in over half. The Show was unplayable until I figured that out. You should be able to find how much input lag your TV has from CNET if you know the model number.
