Know those things have a life of only about 15 years. They fall off quick.

Don't count on tax credits to replace them.

I would deduct the cost of replacement now.

Really? You "know" this how? Outside of some shite Chinese made panels, solar panels easily last past their 25 year warranty.

Besides, with the lease everything is covered for the length of the lease. So if a panel or inverter does go down he will be covered.

Huh? Why? he doesn't have to get solar panels again so why would he deduct for replacement now? And unless the seller is a total moron he would laugh in your face.
