The tornado that touched down near Bert Kouns already passed through S Bossier and is near Heflin now.

Tornado threat seems to be over for Shreveport/Bossier. Now if the rain will just stop and not flood our asses out.

Walked outside before it blew through and it was eerie - dark and dead still. We are off ellerbe and apparently from what friends were saying it went almost right over us but was on the ground west caddo. Every year seems like these pop up.

It crossed 10-15 miles south of the area you were in. Pretty good storm where you were, though.

I lived there for 4 years by the base and I can tell you this is a fact. S'Port definitely gets their fair share.

I'm in keithville. Started following the fricker on radar when it started in Deberry which is just directly west of me. Luckily it went to the north of me closer to GM. Passed over s.Hills and then towards LSUS and ellerbe. I don't have power but that's the worst of it here in the ville. Somethkng did catch fire around the corner though as the storm was blowing through. I could smell it and see a bunch of fire units headed west on colquit and stop just past my subdivision.

May go take a ride to check shite out. Hope everyone is safe

I'm near Mansfield road off of Baird Road. It wasn't bad here but weve been without power for just shy of an hour. Wind picked up pretty good but I guess the tornado just missed us.

Damn Ive got power in Cobblestone.

I havent had a good old fashioned bathroom huddle in about 15 years. My 18 month old slept in my wifes arms like a champ though.

That sound is one that will never be forgotten. It looks like we were just inside the outer line of it.

Glad everyone is okay
