Pitch by committee vs a depleted FL or Arky staff, let Lange win it for you on Sunday. It's a risk, but why not roll the dice?

More rest for regional and super regional to keep him at a good pace. Don't want him on short rest next week.

What if you don't make the final?

We're planning to pitch him in Game 2 of the regional next Saturday, and we want to give him a full 6 days rest.

Top priority is when they want him to pitch next week. They want him to have a full week's rest.

Why not let coach make that decision? I mean, he's won a few games this season.

What a dumb question?
He wants him with a full week rest for regionals and I doubt he goes over 100 pitches

In the grand scheme of things losing on Sat is not a bad thing. This tournament, although awesome to win, means nothing and Vandy proved that last year while LSU couldn't get out of their own regional

I agree that it is tempting, but next week and making the final this week are more important than winning on this Sunday.

Regardless of who we play you have to think that their staff will be depleted by Sunday and hopefully Poche can give us four solid innings, then the bullpen can take over. I have faith that Norman and Godfrey will come up with a couple of solid innings of work...

Getting there is most important.. and it is his turn in the rotation.

To still have your #1 and #2 for the finals is unheard of

Because he can now pitch

Saturday
Regional Saturday
And hopefully Super Regional Saturday depending on when it starts.

Pretty simple call

I'd like to see Bain pitch Sunday and rest up Poche until regionals. Poche seems like he's been pitching on short rest every week, let him rest to be 100% next time we need him.

Regionals:

Game 1: Reynolds against Texas Southern or SoCon winner. We could probably win even with Bouman.
Game 2: Lange. No doubt that it will be him this game
Game 3: Poche
Game 4 if necessary: Bain

Dang. Why didn't Paul think of this. O wait. It's not a good idea.

Dunn explained that after Lange missed a start he was less than his sharpest during his next outing. Lose Saturday, without Lange, and Lange doesn't throw in a game for two weeks. I don't think that's the way CPM wants to set up his ace for the regionals.

Is Lange pitching today? Who pitched yesterday?
