sorry bro, you're not going active.
What if I'm getting it off my record via DUI intervention program?

Well, if you want to lat move, you should talk to a prior service recruiter.
Make sure to tell him you no longer want to be a tubestroker and make damn sure 0331 is written into your new contract.

Actually I believe it's only one, maybe two. One was for showing up late, the other was for the DUI. My malfunction was I had quite a drinking problem while living in Baton Rouge.

Page 11's don't mean shite in the Corps brah. My SRB is the size of a phone book because of page 11s and NJPs.
It's tough to go active from the reserves though. I'd look at latitude moving into an MOS that deploys a lot from the reserves. It would probably require you to travel a ways to drill though.

For some reason, I had it in my head that you wanted to be a machine gunner. I am tracking now.
What are your pro/cons like?
1st class PFT & Expert?
Realistically, how long 'til you pick up Corporal?
Any SNCOs that will go to bat for you?
You would definitely have to prove that you have unfricked yourself.

Really don't wanna do anything else other than infantry, I'd rather stay reserve infantry than go active POG.

All he's got is a couple of pg. 11s. The Maines don't technically even know about the DUI. At least not on paper.

Former 11B3V 2003 - 2009
Spent all my time in the 82nd
B Co 3/325 AIR (03-05)
B Co 2/508 PIR (06-09)
Fought tooth and nail to stay in (Medically retired) but all they'd let me re-class to was Finance so I took the Med-Board.
I don't miss the dog and pony show shite or the airborne timeline, but I do miss jumping, fricking shite up and being around my guys.

There are some cool POG MOSs out there. If you pick up Cpl soon look into 0211. That's cool fricking shite. Way cooler than being a grunt. Trust me buddy, I'm looking out for you. I've been a grunt my whole career and have seen what all the other guys do. I regret not later moving after I did a hitch in the infantry.
