There is an autosave between rounds.
However it takes place before the long conversations between each round. So it would have been nice to be able to save after all of the conversation.

Do you loot people's houses? Does it piss them off?

How amazing is the Blood and Wine ending though

I think you get a warning if you open a chest that will piss folks off. If you then loot the chest they attack.
So I basically didn't loot anything in sight of people or homes in working villages.
Maybe looted a few spots in conflict of that statement, but all I can think of was the dwarf gwent player.

Played through the ending twice. I had the good for Geralt, bad for the Duchess ending the first time, but I saw that coming. Then I replayed and got the totally happy ending.
I was a bit over leveled for the final fight. I think I finished around level 68 on normal play so the final fight wasn't quite hard enough. Especially considering how Detlaf cut through those soldiers in the assault to free his GF.

Only time you have to worry about looting is when guards are around, you can loot in front of home owners.

Even if you weren't that high it would still be easy. I was like 53 I think on DM and it was still way too easy. Very good DLC, but weak baddy after all the build up.

I have none so I went toe to toe and lost many times during the game.

They didn't one hit me, though I was rocking the 45% damage resist with full APs special mutagen from the DLC, and the 25% oil damage reduction from potions (not sure if it works on bosses though). Honestly on DM it doesn't seem like the bosses are ramped up quite as much as the regular monsters/humans are. Many of the regular bandits would almost 2 shot me.
I'd agree on the patience part though, I did new complete playthrough on DM once I got around to buying the DLC, and I got much better about using dodge and being patient. That makes a huge difference.
Imerlith was a headache for me the first time I faced on broken bones my first playthrough since I wasn't super patient, this time on DM he was easy.

So I finished the Hearts of Stone DLC finally the other night. Absolutely incredible and I will be playing through it again. Just got the vineyard in the Blood and Wine DLC and realized how poor I am. I can't even come close to fixing up the house itself

I finished the original with 160k, then with the home fixer upper and getting grandmaster equipment I dropped down to 60k then worked my way back up to 150k.

How? Just Witcher contracts?

This play through I hit every ?
Sold everything I picked up. Did every quest. Contract. Opened every box unless it was an active home.

The problem I have with selling everything is finding shops with enough money. Those relic swords especially go for a lot. I never sell my witcher gear though.

Most of the time I just sold to the Super Sword guy in Velen or the armorer at the Crach's Keep. I would hit up lots of water ? in Skellige, then sell to about 3 shops, then hit some quests for a few days so the stores would replenish their cash. I think there are certain stores that pay better than others but never felt the need to look it up.

Blacksmiths and armorers pay more for weapons and armor than regular merchants. They tend to have more money too. In Velen I normally go to the blacksmith and armorer in Oxenfurt, in Skellige I go to Kaer Trolde and Kaer Muire. Its annoying having to constantly go back and forth after I loot a bunch of stuff.

Yeah, that's one nice thing they fixed with Blood and Wine. Most the merchants in Toussaint have a ton of cash.

You should make a ton of cash just selling the swords and armor you get in B&W. After spending all the money upgrading the enchanter in Hearts of Stone I probably only had 4-5K when I hit Toussaint. By the end of B&W I had 60k on top of having made Grandmaster of every Witcher set and maxing out the house.
And most the merchants inside the main city carry 10K or more cash.

Beat the main game, didn't really like Geralt's ending. I heard there's multiple endings though, is this true?
