No. you do not do that. I can't believe LSU fans, of all people, would think we only need one QB this year. We have 3 on the roster. We have recently had an unusual amount of QBs not even make it here (Liggins, Z Lee, Kiel) and QBs transferring (Randall, Bolden, Rettig, Rivers). We don't have a top notch backup (or top notch starter for that matter), or any quality depth at QB.

Check out teams like USC who got Town (#3 pro) and Darnold (#6 dual) last year.

Or how about OSU who picked up Gibson (#6 ath dual), and Burrow (#7 dual).

Maybe Tennessee who got Jennings (#5 dual), Jones (#8 dual), and Dormandy (#8 pro)

Well how about FSU with Francois (#8 pro) and Johnson (#13 dual).

And every last one of these teams have a dual or pro QB this year in the top 7 of their position. We need QBs for depth, but we also need them for competition. Let's say Harris wins and blows up like Jamies Winston. Does he stay his fourth year? We'd lose both him and Jennings and have McMillan, a RS freshman in Franks, and one or two true freshman. That is crappy arse depth.
