Ok just finished John's chapter.... what the frick was that? He's dead? fricking shite. I'm gonna punch this fat frick in his fat face.

Supposedly Millesandra will revive him and since he "died" his watch has ended so he can frick shite up now worry free.

He warged into ghost is my best speculation based on the significance of first story in the book.

I'd also speculate Melisandre is going to ressurect him.

This would get him out of his vows with the Nights Watch.

As others have said none of us know for sure. The book makes it look that way certainly and he may "stay dead".

But I agree with those that say GRRM sure has set it up for a "warg into a wolf, Mel does red magic, Jon comes back from the dead, is released from his vows and/or is the 999th as well as 998th or whatever commander of the night's watch (can't remember the significance of whatever that number is but I seem to remember it has some) and volia!

Only thing I really want out of the books/show right now is for Tyrion to ride a fricken dragon. If they give me that they can kill off whoever they want and put whoever they want on the iron throne and handle the white walker storyline however they want.
