Where was your first date and when did you know he/she was the one?

Mine was at Ruby Tuesday off College and Corporte (now closed).
I realized she was the one after she ordered a scotch and spinach/artichoke dip for our appetizer.

We hit up Akasha and then walked to an LSU baseball game.
It was probably when we were dancing at the jambalaya festival a couple months later and I went to dip her, her heavy purse slid off her shoulder to her elbow, and I lost my footing and we both crashed to the ground. Instead of ripping me a new one, she just busted out laughing.

Church, then Cheesecake Factory, then 2 different bars.
I knew he was the one in how he responded when my parents lost everything in a house fire shortly after we started dating. We had only known each other like a month and when he heard he immediately offered to help me pay for my trip home and watch my dog while I traveled home and gave me money to help my parents out.

TBH, my SO pretty much embodies most of Cecily Strong's "One-Dimensional Female Character From a Male Driven Comedy". We should probably avoid any kinds of social media or else risk being captured by Hollywood writers and studied for plot devices and cliches.

Tampicos and a movie in the berry, I knew she was the one that night when split entrees. She made me drop her off back with no play but called me half an hour later . Stayed talking on the phone until the sun was up. I knew and she knew .
