Except Chris Conley didn't do shite in college and was viewed as an UDFA before the combine.
Devin Smith was consistently viewed as a late 1st/2nd round WR and and actually been a very good WR on the field, unlike Conley.
And I like Conley. But there's no way I draft him before the 4th round.

Maxx Williams...Big, fast, non-blocking TE with great hands.
Sounds familiar? Get ready.

On the field?
Michael Sam led the SEC in sacks. Calvin Johnson and Demayrius Thomas put up modest numbers in options offenses
It's not like Smith was that much better anyway
Devin Smith 33/931/12
Chris Conley 37/657/8
A "very good" WR that caught 33 passes on the top 5 passing team in the conference? Im not trying to knock Smith, he has that big play, go and get it ability. T dude has seen a HUGE jump thanks to his exposure and hype in the playoffs, though.
As for Conley, UGA was 2nd to last in pass attempts in the SEC and they led the conference in rushing. They werent a passing team. LSU was the only team with less pass attempts. Malachi Dupre or Trey Fontenot for Travin Dural didnt do shite either...
Even still, Conley was 3rd in the conference in yards per catch and 6th in TDs with 8.
