I mean, if they are confident that Peat will be an elite LT, you take him at 13 no matter what your team looks like. But I'm pissed about it as well.

I completely agree, I haven't liked his tape for the past couple months. Too tall for Bree's an not a good run blocker

The Cowboys drafted a guy that could come in and make a difference immediately. I'm not convinced that Peat is better than either of our starting tackles. None of Peat, Strief, and Armstead look capable of playing inside, which is where most of our problems came from last year. If Peat can come in and effectively play guard for us as a rookie, I'd be thrilled with the pick.

I think Strief has this year.
If you don't think he'll play next year, draft a tackle later.
Your first round pick should be able to play immediately.
