A majority of the adult stuff you know today was not there when the park opened. The original intention was not for this. I'm not saying they don't have anything for adults. If you haven't gotten that from my posts, you can't read. And I think that they do cater to adult only vacations now. I do not think that was on Walt's radar when he originally built the park though.

His original idea was an experimental city (talking about WDW specifically). Families, couples, etc. were to live there and it was meant to be a place to test new technology in the home and in transportation and infrastructure. Eventually became EPCOT.
